The proposed project 1- with the coordination of Tokat Economic Development and Vocational Training Association from Turkey, and with the cooperation of 2- Sfera from Macedonia and 3- Danube Volunteer Center Association from Romania started on 01/01/2018 and lasted for 8 months.
Our associations which are attaching great importance to the developments in the field of social policies also try to contribute to fields like sustainable development, gender equality, human resources development with meetings, conferences and research studies.
The implemented Project arose from our consciousness of social responsibility. The aim of our Project was to meet the participating youngsters and the policy makers in our city, and to ensure that the ideas of the project participants would be taken into account in terms of employment and vocational training. Workshops and conferences were held with our institutions for the development of vocational and technical education.
Project participants were young women and men aged 15 to 30. Young men and women involved in vocational technical training attended the events together. It was provided for the target groups to live with different cultures and prejudiced thoughts were destroyed. The cooperation among youngsters has been developed. Various practicess among civil society organizations were recognized and new practices were learned. Participants were offered oppurtunities with project actvities to become individuals being favorable to group work, loving people, showing respectful approach to different cultures, studying scientific studies, regarding the science as guide to themselves, knowing the power of youth and having broad, self-expressing,and caring ideas.
Project mobility started on 16/04/2018 and ended on 20/04/2018. Project activity places, meeting room, conference hall, etc. were prepared by the coordinator association in the best way. All necessary measures against the failure of the project activities were taken in a planned manner. The vocational and technical education in Europe and the methods of transition to the labor market were learned. Transition of youth to vocational and technical education and job market, entrepreneurship, positive use of human resources, youth policies were evaluated and solution proposals were formed. The ideas of our administrators and employers were learned. An awareness was created about preparing CV and the importance of personel-development.
It was contributed to the formation of a European Turkish youth who would express their thoughts and ideas in a democratic way.
Meetings to which the representatives of Tokat Municipality and Tokat Provincial Directorate of National Education, Tokat Science and Technology Directorate, Tokat İİGEM, Gaziosmanpaşa University Technopark, Tokat Common Use Workshop attended were held.
The reports were given to Tokat Provincial Directorate of National Education and Tokat Science and Technology Directorate and institutions related to vocational technical education. YouthPass documents were given to participants by the Education Administrators of the city. We were expecting 5,000 people to be impacted by our Project. But the impact of the KA 3 project which was implemented for the first time in our province was more significant.
Project partners have affected a wide range of geography in three European countries by sharing via media in their own countries. A big progress was made about Industry 4.0. The meetings, workshops, presentations made about the industry 4.0 provided a develeopment for vocational technical education students and even for their teachers. Project activities were carried out in the country and city of the coordinator institution.
